Godey's magazine, in 1863, featured a knitting pattern for what was described as men's "driving" gloves. These gloves are based on that pattern and have been knit from 100% wool that is small gauge and small and comfortable to wear. We are pleased to be able to offer these as there has been a void in the living history community for hand knit authentic gloves that could bridge the gap between mittens and wristers. Ours are currently availabe in dark gray or light gray and are sized to fit most.
