We are excited to be offering yet another documented Civil War soldier carried handkerchief!  Our newest offering is the Reuben A Sweet, 5th Wisconsin Independent Battery, handkerchief and it now resides in our private collection.  This handkerchief was used by Private Sweet during his time with the 5th Wisconsin Battery, which served in the western theater of the war and was present on Sherman's March to the Sea.  Our repro measures 29 x 24 inches and is 100% cotton.  We have striven to recreate what Sweet's handkerchief would have looked like as a new item, and the original and new repro is included in the item pictures.
