We were fortunate enough to obtain the original of this handkerchief during a sale of Civil War relics out of New York. We do not know who owned the handkerchief originally, but it was part of a large Civil War collection and its construction and pattern are typical of the period. It is made from 100% cotton and measures 18x19 inches.

This handkerchief is terrific. I purchased it as part of a 165th NY Zouave impression and the colors are striking and of a very nice pattern. I am pleased as always by yet another item offered by South Union Mills!

I got this because I wasn’t said to belong to a specific person and it seemed like a great average Handkerchief for the New Yorker. The pattern is very detailed and color very fine.

The pictures really do not do justice to this item. The replica is done in wonderful detail and is a good practical size for actual use. I received mine quickly and in perfect condition.
