Hand knit from 100% wool yarn, in dark and earthtone colors. These mittens are from a common 18th century pattern. Our faithful reproductions are made from 100% woolen yarns that are spun and dyed in a woolen mill that has been in operation since 1857. These mittens are an excellent choice for any 18th and early 19th century impression! Currently only available in navy blue or brown (1 pair brown left). Please put color choice in customer comments.

Definitely a great purchase for Cowpens reenactment and saved my fingers from frostbite. Worked well in actual cold environment. Highly recommend. Just check first if they are correct for your period impression.

Bought these mittens a week before I attended an event in New Jersey. Glad I had these gloves, the temperature was in the teens and event dropped to 4 degrees the following morning. They kept my hands nice and warm the entire weekend.
