Introducing a faithful reproduction of the wallet carried by General William Lee Davidson of the North Carolina Militia. General Davidson was tragically killed on February 1, 1781, in a skirmish with British troops at Cowan's Ford, NC. The original wallet was taken from his body by British troops and later found its way into the collection of the British Public Records Office.
