Folding Bone Handle Spoon

Folding spoon

We had this reproduction made from our original Civil War era folding spoon.  Our original was made from white copper (reason for the slightly more expensive cost), and this reproduction is also made featuring a bone handled, brass bolster, and white copper spoon.  A perfect compliment to our folding fork.   Measures 4 inches closed, and 7 1/4 inches opened.  This will fit nicely into a pocket, knapsack, or haversack.

    Perfect Folding Spoon

This spoon is perfect for its size. It has a big head so that you can get great helpings of soups or whatever you might be eating. Easy to fold and goes great with the folding fork.

    Sturdy!

I'm no expert on period tableware, but I can tell you it's sturdy, nice looking and well made. The hinge is tight & feels like it will hold up well. It's not obtrusive & when folded, takes up little space in your kit.

Very well made and unique item. Performs as described. For reference it's fairly substantial as well, about the size of a soup spoon. And shopping was prompt as well.
