18th/Early 19th century Work Jacket

Early 19th century workman's jacket (Front)

Short "work" jackets were commonly worn by workmen and laborers, among others, throughout the 18th and early 19th century.  Our reproduction is double breasted and features your choice of outer cloth (wool or linen) and is lined with linen/cotton blend in a color that accents the outer cloth.  The coat features a double row of buttons on the front and buttoned functioning cuffs.  It also features an exterior pocket.  What sets our coat apart from the rest is not only the quality of cloth and construction, but also that it features completely hand sewn button holes.  Your choice of buttons (cloth covered, wooden, or brass coin) are also available.

If not in stock at time of order, a wait of approx. 3-4 weeks may be necessary.  Thank you!

I am so pleased with with the work Jacket I recieved. As a Historical Interpreter, I portray an Late 18th/Early 19th Century Bay and River Pilot here in Delaware. The jacket fit perfectly and fills the bill for what I needed and was hoping for. Well done, Sir! Well done.
