Reproduction of a goat leather pouch dating to the first half of the 2nd century AD that was discovered at The Cave of Letters, a cave in Nahal Hever, Israel, where letters and fragments of papyri from the Roman Imperial era were found. When the pouch was found, it contained a bundle of documents which were dated in the 120/30s AD time period. The last dated one was from Aug. 19, 132. It is believed that the pouch and documents were deposited in the cave at the end of the 2nd Jewish revolt 132-135 AD.
