The hobby of living history has long been in need of an appropriate sized reproduction pocket watch that can help you keep your antique original safe and not damaged because of use. This watch is a reproduction of a late 18th/early 19th century watch and has a good weight and thick face.
They measure almost 2-1/8 inch round without the stem (3 inches long with the stem), about 3/4 inch thick, have a glass face, and this style is the appropriate heavier weight. It will sit perfectly in a watch or vest pocket and can be affixed with one of the reproduction chains we are offering. Silver is currently in stock and available, inquire if you wish to purchase gold.
This repro is battery operated, the stem turns it on and off. There is no second hand. The back can be opened by screwing the plate off so you can change the battery yourself. When the watch is not in use, pull the stem up to stop it - you can also move the hands to set the watch when the stem is in the up position.
Much better option than ruining an original key wind!
