This reproduction homespun blanket saw use by a South Carolina Confederate solider and the original is in the collection of he American Civil War Museum (formerly the MoC). This reproduction is authentic in every detail, and features proper return selvedge and is woven on a period loom by Family Heirloom Weavers. This latest version of the SC blanket measures 76 inches long and are 71 inches wide and weigh approximately 2.6 pounds, so this will make a great 3 season blanket and will not be bulky on the march. They are made of 100% American wool and are gray with a black stripe on each end (please see pictures). These blankets come finished.
