Canton flannel undershirt

Undershirts are very under represented in the living history community, and we are excited to offer these reproduction canton flannel undershirts.  Our undershirts are made from canton flannel (soft on one side for comfort and warmth) and are sewn on a period treadle machine with hand sewn button holes.  They are made by one of our Old Order Amish seamstresses with all period correct techniques (including wood heat and no electricity, can't get any more authentic than that).  Current sizes in stock are listed as options.  If your size is not listed, please email us at for more information and express your interest.

    19th Century Canton Flannel Undershirt

As with everything else purchased from South Union Mills, this shirt is exactly as described. It is well made and true to size. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the minor issue that one of the three hand sewn button holes is too small to button; a slight inconvenience. I look forward to wearing the shirt when we are able to participate in our hobby again.
